If your customer does not like what you have designed, don’t be dismay. This is the most frightening thing a graphic designer can hear from his client but you have nothing to do with it, you may spend a hard time just to complete his project but this seems nit is not enough to them. A simple thank you can’t compensate in your work but take it as a stepping stone for you to do better designs in the future.
This is the reason contract is the best way you can secure in making projects with your client. In case that your client drops in the middle of the projects gives to you have a security to have compensation.
But you must have a good clarification beforehand that he will be billed according to the amount of work done and you have the right to be compensated for the efforts you have made.
